Calahonda is 33kms from malaga airport. It is a custom-built urbanisation that is considered as a town in its own right, although it is really only a suburb of marbella. The amenities in calahonda are all located within easy walking distance. It has three commercial centres with banks, hardware and furniture stores, travel agencies, hairdressers, bars and more than forty restaurants. There are at least ten golf courses within 10kms of calahonda, which also has its own port of cabopino.
